A few notes on De Keukenprins (Chef de la Cuisine)

DON'T delete the first two cards! Make sure you have a Back–Up!
The program is very straightforward but be carefull with modifications if you don't know HyperTalk. The stack contains 2 cards with 1 background. For distribution with modem I made De Keukenprins as small as possible. The first card is an intro card wich contains a pict of a closed book. On startup you can hide the pict with the "Click to continue" button or you can see a bit information about me and why I've made this stack by clicking on the closed book. When you hide the pict (with the "Click to continue" button) you will see the Index of this stack and a few notes about how to use this stack. When you click the "De Keukenprins" button the pict of the first card appears again. With this most of the fields and buttons are hidden (wich also hapens at startup).In short: Although it looks like the intro and the index are two seperate cards, it is just one.
When entering text in the fields for the ingredients and the preparation of a recipe you have to know the following. When giving a return in the field for preparation the next sentence automaticaly starts with a number and a "–". If you delete a starting number you will get an error at the next return. So don't. I've done this to make the lay-out more a unity throughout the whole stack. In other words: type a part of the preparation and give an enter at the end of the part. The text wraps automaticaly and after a part you'll get a number at the start. This looks better and makes it easier when cooking. The same happens in the ingredients field but without the number.
The second card contains a hidden pict. This one is for a nice shutdown of De Keukenprins. I've made an example of a recipe on this card (AppleCake). You can change this if you like but do not delete this card (when you're not from Holland I don't think you will be able to read the recipe). Change the name of this card and unlock the field wich contains the name "Appel Cake" to change the name into the name of the recipe you want to see on this card. After that lock it again and go to the Index. Hold down the optionKey and click on the Index field. Now you will see the name of your recipe in the index.
Changes in version 1.1.
On request I've changed a few bits.
-The most important is a new button on the first card called "Import Recipes". This button will ask you to locate another version of hypercard (wich contains some recipes you already put in the fields). It wouldn't be so nice if I would let you type all your recipes with every new version of De Keukenprins. But I'm a nice person so I won't. After locating the other version of De Keukenprins the script of the button will do the work for you. With this it is also possible to exchange recipes with friends. If there is a recipe wich already is in the stack, you have to delete it afterwards (probably Appel Cake). I'm working on it. Maybe in a next version.
-I've also added a cancel option when clicking on the quit button.
-You can bypass the flashing of the index button at start-up by holding down the CommandKey.
-The other changes are mostly design changes and faster/better scripts. Check it out and you will notice.

I don't mind if you modify anything, but if you don't know HyperTalk you will get in trouble. Do not change the names of fields and buttons. If you think there has to be added or changed something in this stack let me know (Address is available in the stack).
